Welcome! I’m Wendy Fairchild, BSN, RN, CHt, a registered nurse, certified hypnotherapist, and stress management specialist with 30 years experience in the field of self improvement. My passion lies in helping people achieve meaningful transformations—whether it’s overcoming anxiety, healing from past experiences, navigating life changes, or embracing a healthier lifestyle. This can be done easily in just a few minutes a day using my method!
My Story
If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that life has a way of testing us. I’ve been through my share of challenges—divorce, caring for an aging parent, navigating toxic relationships, starting over later in life—and through it all, one thing has remained my anchor: guided meditation.
I started using this modality early in life, long before I ever became a nurse or a hypnotherapist. At times when I felt lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of my next step, guided meditation became my refuge. It helped me find clarity when everything felt chaotic. It gave me the strength to heal, move forward, and reinvent myself when life demanded it.
Why Guided Meditation?
I know firsthand that traditional meditation can feel frustrating. Sitting in silence, trying to "clear your mind," can be next to impossible when you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, or grief. That’s why I was drawn to guided meditation instead—it didn’t ask me to silence my thoughts; it showed me how to redirect them in a way that actually felt healing.
Through visualization, calming words, and focused intention, I learned how to shift my mindset and regain a sense of control over my life. When I became a hypnotherapist, I saw how powerful this practice was for others, too—helping people manage stress, reframe negative thoughts, and find peace in the middle of life’s storms. Later, as a nurse, I saw how it could help patients facing surgery, pain, and fear.
